:get around to it:
(Another two layer collage)
***
Woke up feeling cringey about yesterday’s post but am determined not to censor my earnest outpourings - it’s part of the being brave and surging forward thing.
However, as something of an antidote to yesterday’s breathiness - here’s my current favourite quotation, by Andy Warhol:
“When people are ready to, they change. They never do it before then, and sometimes they die before they get around to it.”

That is a wonderful quote! It really is true.

Hey, I enjoyed your last post, and it really resonated with me. I am also finding myself hitting the post button before I have time to think too much about my posts (or even comments) these days. Earlier this year I decided that I would make this the year of the leap. So I am just jumping in and doing things, and trying not to be held back by worries of how I might come across, how others might react, or how they might perceive me. And so far, I’ve been really pleasantly surprised anyway! So hold on to your earnestness - my husband often smiles at me when I say something, and when I ask what he’s laughing at, he says “I’m not laughing - I’m smiling at how earnest you are. I like it”. I’m still a bit paranoid that his smile is actually one of amusement, but now I don’t mind. I’d rather be an earnest fool, than a cautious worrywart.
Now I’m hoping that this comment doesn’t sound too full-on and foolish....but I’m going to hit the submit button before I have time to overthink it
Regards, Bec
