:project stripy sock bunny:
I wanted to make some softies which have stripy ‘stockings’ a la stripy sock studio, so I made this prototype one for my friend, Dairne who is having a baby very soon.
I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, and it looks sweet with a little dress over the tights, but here she is in her ‘undies’ so you can see the ‘tights’ in all their glory.
The striped fabric was a pillowcase - I adore orange and brown together (child of the 70s that I am).
I’m looking forward to making some more of these for nieces and friends and stalls in the coming months. I think she might become my ‘signature’ bunny (you know - the way fashion designers have their ‘signature’ pieces?)

She is a very cool & adorable bunny! The stripy legs and ears are so cute. Looking forward to seeing more of these little darlings.

the stripy socks on this little guy just make him irresistible, the face has such expression for being made of buttons and thread. really nice work, I do love rabbit!
