::seed pods::
There are seed pods everywhere at the moment - late summer, heading into autumn. I love seed pods. I’ve been collecting them and trying my best (I’m not so good at observational drawing) to sketch them in my two molekine journals. I gessoed the pages of the lined moleskines, and am trying to do collage/paint/pencil pages in there with NO WRITTEN WORDS - which is a big challenge for me, because I write all over everything. There are some words in there - but only ‘found’ words on collage pieces. I’ll share some of the finished pages over the coming year.
In the mean time - here are some of the seed pods I’ve been collecting. It’s been great for teaching Willoughby more about plants, too.
