:stripy sock photo of the week:
This is the sixth week of ‘stripy sock photo of the week’ - what do you think? Is the feature a keeper? Are you enjoying them?
Repeating my sources already, but I do love Sproutgirl’s style, aesthetic, styling - almost as much as I admire this and this and this - in her online shop. (It is for a very good reason I have chosen not to have a credit card - with all the goodness available online - I would bankrupt us within weeks, I’m sure.) She has lovely, quirky, unique style.
So much good about this one - the muted colours, the old linoleum - and not least the cute shoes and socks.
It’s been a funny old week. I’m trying hard to keep my blog about happy things, inspiration, life’s goodness - but I’m not a person who hides her moods easily, and I think this week’s posts ended up having something of a melancholy tinge. Ah well - good intentions.
I’m looking forward to a weekend of gardening, family fun, going to hear Douglas Lloyd-Jenkins and Peter Wells speak at the library, more knitting of the ‘jersey of zen’, a meeting of my writing group and we may even make the Easter buns we didn’t get to make this year because we were travelling over Easter. Have a good one, friends.
