100 things i love in this world

image

The 36 Things List is going well - I’m immersed in Janet Frame...finished ‘Owls Do Cry’ on the weekend, also reading ‘The Goose Bath’ and re-watched ‘Angel At My Table’ last night.

I attempted a river swim yesterday, but the water was glacial so just paddled instead. Whilst at the river, I stole some rocks for number 21 on my list.

My dear friend Sarah has volunteered to coach me in sushi making - so I feel like I’ve got that one covered.

I started, but didn’t get finished sewing a tunic for myself on the weekend.

I am attempting to save coriander and silverbeet seed. (Thanks, Natasha, for the tips.)

So yeah - I feel like I’ve made a good start.

Also, inspired by Andrea - here’s another list - obviously it doesn’t include the people in my life, because that goes without saying, and it’s in no particular order (before Drew emails me to ask why The Smiths are 16th)…

I like your listy goodness. I am currently watching the Joe Strummer documentary - maybe it could keep Patti company?

Hey chick, I was wondering if you’re anything like a size 9 cos I have these wonderful red patent high-heeled (wedge heel) shoes that I love and bought thinking they’d fit because the 8 didn’t but they are actually too big to walk in. They’re so cool and if you are a size 9 (*squinting and crossing fingers here*) and think you’ll wear them (christmas parties! birthdays! nights out on the town!) they’re yours. (They weren’t expensive - they’re brand new - I haven’t even been able to wear them - and I SO want to but can’t think of a way to make them fit because a) they have a peep toe and b) there is elastic in the back of the heel and that SHOULD keep them on but doesn’t, they’re not slingbacks though).

Anyway, very inspiring post!
