want to make more dollies…

Look at these little cuties. I’m hoping to make them some solemn siblings soon.

(If anyone read this post before and is wondering where it went - I - erm - got rather embarrassed at my own naval-gazing and * ahem * edited it.

i think quirky dolls are a pretty cool thing to specialise in- but i love the other things you make too. thank you for the kind words about my stuff- but i am always feeling like a ‘bad crafter’ to not be experimenting more with new ideas and skills. something to aspire to i guess.
i admire the way you are constantly challenging and checking yourself and your work- it’s inspiring!

It must be such a relief to have settled a little bit of mind matter.
I’m really stoked have have recieved a mention, but really, I’m in the same boat as M in that I feel a little bad that making hoodies is all I seem to do lately, as you know I haven’t even made skirts so far this winter!
And while it’s nice that you’ve decided something, I do secretly hope that your other bits of arty craftiness pop up fom time to time, because I do so love the things you’ve made since I’ve known you too. I wish I’d been quick enough to snuffle up the mini paintings I wanted at craft 2.0, and I wear my two brooches at least once a week each. : ) You’re such a clever chook and you’ll do great at anything you out your mind too. it’s true.

your dolls are beautiful, just my cup of tea! and I am a big fan of Julie Arkell also, she has been an influence for me too. I love the idea of taking ‘domestic’ skills and making something artful and I look forward to seeing more of your work when I have more time to browse. best wishes Cathy
