how its gonna be

This week I bought brown cowboy style boots based solely on this photo which inspired my vision of how this summer is gonna be (so thanks, simple moth):
It goes like this - it’s going to be spent outside, on the grass, beside bodies of water. There will be picnics and BBQs and tea drunk up hill tops. There will be campfires and bushwalks. The eating will be the vegetables I grow and the beasties that my Dad catches.
I’m going to walk and swim and dance and run around after my kids. I’m going to let go of worrying.
There will be gratuitous wearing of florals, and twee cardigans, with brown boots and bare legs and sunhats. But don’t get too precious about your threads, because there will also be hose-squirting and people being thrown into rivers.
Yee-ha!
