little ode to street art

Oh street art - how I love thee.

Your spontaneous, anarchic, ephemeral, transitory nature inspires and excites me.

I admire the courage and anonymity of your makers. You are not about ego, or profit or attention.

I like that you make me wonder about the person who made you.

I also like that I can’t find out about who made you. That thwarted curiosity makes you all the more attractive.

I like the way you hide down alleyways and around dark corners.

You are the most Buddhist of art forms.

Street art, to me you are everything art should be.

i have a favorite ally way this is covered in the most amazing street art, just when you fall in love with something, it changes!
